VMFA-122 "Mach Altus" F-35B Patch - MP0524

The Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 122, called the "Flying Leathernecks" have a new patch. "Mach Altus" is the name of their mascot which comes from the Mach Number and the Latin word for altitude.

Made famous by their colorful Commander "Pappy" Boyington, the Flying Leathernecks have a rich history going all the way back to 1942.
They have flown Wildcats, Corsair, Crusaders, Phantoms, Hornets, you name it, in the past and now have the F-35B, the Marines Version of the Lightning II.
