Hotel Security Tips
Hotels are providing good tips for your security, these include;

Safeguard your room key (if it is lost or stolen report it to front desk)

Deadbolt (or use locks and chains) your room after entering.
Also lock connecting doors, windows, and sliding glass doors.
Check doors are locked when leaving room.

Report suspicious activity to management.

Do not discuss plans for leaving hotel in front of strangers.

Do not let anyone into your room without positive identification.
Use the door viewer if installed.
Do not accept unsolicited deliveries.
Check with front desk if a visitor claims to be an employee.

Use safety deposit boxes for your cash and valuables
(usually at the front desk).

Familarize yourself with the nearest fire exit stairway and exits.
Report fire or smoke to the hotel operator.

Use the main entrance if returning to your hotel late in the evening.

Try not to display your room keys in public where they could be stolen.

Do not leave luggage unattending when checking in or out.

Do not leave valuables in parked vehicles.
In an evacuation;
Avoid use of the elevator.
Move quickly but calmy.
