Join us as we fly a short flight from London Gatwick to Birmingham in England.

'Whazzup' shows we can expect ATC for the entire route, it also shows there's some other sim pilots online.

Today we're operating a Boeing 727 (from Captain Sim). Here we're just about to close the door and start our flight.

We push back from the gate

Holding short of 26L we review our route, BNN-HON.

A final check of the instruments before taking off to the west.

As we turn to the north, we can see the sun going down on the distant horizon.

Cruising at 12,000 for this short flight

The flight director makes the flight much easier.

Jeppesen Charts are used to prepare for the approach. We are planning to use runway 33.

The GPS also helps us monitor our progress.

Using the chart we can set up the frequencies for the ILS approach to runway 33.

Now as the flight continues we become visual with the runway.

The aircraft is configured for landing.

The runway approaches quickly, and the full runway light arrangement is easily seen.

Back on stand with perform the shut down checklist.

The second officer completes his checks also.

The crew is now finished and we've flown the short flight from London Gatwick up to Birmingham. Thank-you for joining us, we hope you enjoyed the flight !
