Columbia Fifteenth

This Christmas ornament celebrates 15 years in space of Space Shuttle Columbia which had its first mission on April 12 1981.

It also features a quote from astronaut Michael Collins;

"Man has always been an explorer, there is fascination with thrusting out and going to new places. It's like going through a door because you find the door in front of you."

The artwork is by the world renowned aviation artist Warren Green and is a fifteenth limited edition.
