Shuttle Endeavour
Shuttle Endeavour

This Christmas ornament shows STS-49, Space Shuttle Endeavour's maiden flight which launched on May 7, 1992.
The goal of this mission was to retrieve the Intelsat VI satellite.
On this ornament we see a three-person extra vehicular activity, which was the first time that three people from the same spacecraft walked in space at the same time.
It also features two quotes; the first one from author Richard Bach and the second from Daniel C Brandenstein, Space Shuttle Endeavour Commander;
"You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it true. You may have to work for it however."
"Houston, I think we got a satellite."
The artwork is by the world renowned aviation artist Warren Green and is an eleventh limited edition.
It is 3.25" in diameter, and has a descriptive quote on the back. It comes packaged in a decorative display box which is perfect for gift giving to business associates, aviation enthusiasts, and friends.
