J-3 Piper Cub Neck Tie

This beautiful neck tie shows several J-3 Piper Cub airplanes.
The J-3 Piper Cub is a single engine, two seat (tandem), tail dragger, which was produced between 1938 and 1947 by Piper Aircraft.
On the tie is a wonderful scene depicting a typical day at an airfield.
J-3 Piper Cubs can be seen flying, in the hanger and there's also an airplane in the foreground with it's engine running.
The long grass of the airfield will be familar to many pilots and enthusiasts.
