Heavy Lift Cargo Airlines - Shorts Belfast

The Shorts Belfast is a remarkable aircraft, transporting large pieces of equipment by air. Heavylift operated the aircraft until recently, and in this DVD you can join the crew in the flight deck as they fly from Paris to Madrid to pick up a crane, and then as they fly it to Dakar with a fuel stop in Las Palmas, before a more than nine hour flight back to Southend.
The DVD chapters allow you to jump to particular segments, and each offers interest in different ways, whether it's watching the preflight walk around, or engine start, taxi, or other parts of the flight.
You'll see the Shorts Belfast put through its paces as it picks up an extremely heavy piece of equipment, and you'll be amazed as you see it being loaded. You'll then follow the crew as they transport it.
The in-flight scenery is spectacular, and you can see Paris as the Belfast sets course for Madrid.
The first officer keeps us informed, and takes time to explain the flight deck layout and instruments, with some modern equipment mixed with the old.
The DVD was extremely interesting, and a change from the passenger airliner DVD's. Here you can see how the crews deal with unusual and extremely heavy loads.
