The Ordnance Guys of the VMFA-214 made their own patch this year celebrating our 250 year anniversary.

They are honoring their roots by going back all the way to 1943 when they were still the "VMF-214" and called themselves "Boyington's Bastards" after their famous commander Major Gregory "Pappy" Boyington.

On March 25, 2022, the squadron was re-designated as Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 214 (VMFA-214) as it switched to flying the F-35B Lightning II.
