B-52 Patch we dug up recently. We are thinking this is late 1980s to early 1990s.
In 1991 the B-52s previously under SAC were taken off alert and were assigned to the reactivated 92nd Operations Group and redesignated the 325th Bomb Squadron. Shortly after that SAC was inactivated followed by the squadron being inactivated. The 92nd became and air refueling establishment and eventually the squadron became a B-2s at the end of the 1990s assigned to the 509th Operations Group.
